I’ve been vegetarian since I was little — in fact, at just 3 years old, I was already helping save turtles on a protected beach in southern Italy. I grew up in a sustainable household, deeply influenced by my mom, who worked for WWF and inspired my love for animals. She even chose my name, Gaia, to reflect my connection to nature.

I’ve always adored animals and plants — at one point I dreamed of becoming a biologist, but instead I chose a different path: influencing people to choose sustainable, vegan, and cruelty-free beauty. Sustainability is woven into every part of my life, from buying second-hand clothes and zero-waste DIY projects (yes, I even keep little scraps of paper to make handmade gifts!) to carefully selecting products that align with my values.

I became vegetarian at 11, and now at 21, I still can’t bear the thought of animals being harmed — it genuinely brings me to tears. My whole family is vegetarian, and even my closest friends share the same values. For me, sustainability isn’t just a lifestyle — it’s my identity.
